Do you see others and wish you had a better job, better relationship, or better health and happiness? Do you think that if you get the next promotion, more money or past this current stage in life you will be happier? Does the neighbor’s grass always look greener than yours?
In today’s mindset Monday, I wanted to share one of my favorite quotes: “The grass is greener where you water it.”
Take account of your values and the things that are most important to you. These are the things you must “water and care for.”
If you put more care and attention into your significant other, you will have a stronger relationship. Take time to talk, to listen, and to connect. Schedule date nights. Get off your phones. Hold hands. Have fun together.
If you put more care and attention into your health, you will be a healthier version of you. Schedule time to work out or go for a daily walk. Be mindful of the food and drinks you consume. Take time to relax and recharge.
If you put more care and attention into your career and self-development, you will find more success and satisfaction. Serve others. Read. Take classes. Continue learning. Network with others. Do your best work. Take in stretch assignments.
And, focus on the good around you as well.
Make it a great week!
